We had the Leganto Detailed Notifications Letter switched on, but because there is no option currently for this to be "opt in" by default rather than "opt out" by default, we have had to switch it off again. We are only in our pilot phase so may consider switching the Letter back on later when most of our staff are using Leganto RLs. But for now it's not ideal for all instructors to get notifications when they aren't using Leganto.

We don't have control over how many instructors are attached to our courses, and because of the way courses are administrated at our institution, some instructors are attached to 100+ courses even if they're not teaching them. This means that some staff, including Associate Deans in some cases, would be getting 100s of letters per day for different courses (or at the very least one very long letter per day ... not sure how it works for separate courses).

Ideally we would like to have this letter switched on, and the default setting be "off" so that they have to opt in to receive notifications.
