Same problem happens here. We do not want to include instructor name to it.

I'll definitely be reactivating this enhancement request in next year's NERS, if someone else doesn't get to it first. We would love to be able to remove the huge number of 'list owners' we have attached to courses from display in Primo VE, as it looks terrible and we're sure that all those people would rather not have their names publicly visible, particularly as most of them aren't even the course instructors (it's how our courses are set up in our LMS, not our choice).

Is there any update on the status of this request? We're wondering about the "Under Review" notation before we submit NERS request for 2023. Thanks!

With the March 2022 Additional Enhancement to add $$w (leganto reading list), we would like to see this enhancement realized as we cannot take advantage of all the CNO fields in Primo VE. Having the reading list name may help students if they want to remember a course resource list from a previous course.

And it would be super if those things could be active links, so we could send an instructor a URL for all of their materials. I know, I know...Leganto. But that's unaffordable for us.

Another feature I'd like is to select a portion of the course code to show. Our course codes include semester, year, offering details which our students don't really see anywhere else. Being able to choose a substring of the course code for display would be nifty.

It's great to be able to add course information but for many reasons we need to have the ability to tailor the fields that are shown to enhance the user experience. This really is key and without the ability to tailor what is shown we will have to make the choice not to present any additional information, which is a loss, rather than an enhancement.

Agree that this should not really be an enhancement request it should be possible out of the box. The documentation is misleading as it suggests that this data is handled separately - there are separate switches for each. We have just spent a long time switching off different ones to try and remove instructor information from the display only to find out that it's not possible to do that

Very much interested in this to happen. As Salihin mentioned, I agree that this should not even have to be an idea or enhancement - should be possible out of the box as all those fields are separately stored in Alma. I am baffled why they are pulled together as one field in Primo VE without having the possibility to split them. I have recently raised a case (#00835289) but was dismissed by saying it is not possible and got directed to this ideas exchange. Hope that Primo VE product management takes notice.

This should not even have to be an idea or enhancement in the first place. Individual course information i.e. Course Code, Course Name and Course Instructor should be able to be displayed according to institutional needs

In Primo VE add the ability to control the information displayed in "Course List" field in the Details service of the Full Record Display where the title is on a Leganto reading list.
OTB the following data elements are displayed: Cource code; Reading List title; Course department; List owner (?).
We would like to ability to control which data elements are displayed.
This development would bring VE in step with Primo.
