A report of "full text available" records in Primo Central for each institution
It would be great to be able to get a report of the institutional holdings that have been matched to records in Primo Central, so that they are indexed as "full text available" for the institution. This would enable libraries to see which active portfolios in each SFX KB target / Alma CZ collection are indexed at all in Primo Central, and how much of the holdings of each serial are indexed. Libraries could then use this to indicate to users which journals and collections cannot be found in Primo Central. It would also be useful to see gaps in…

Index Ebsco API "abstract" Results so they don't appear in Primo "Full-Text" Results
All Primo results from the EBSCO API are searched and displayed "on the fly," and there's no option to sort the abstract-only content from full-text in Primo results.
So even though our default in Primo is to display ONLY "full text" results -- Primo is returning EBSCO "abstract only" or "may be full text" links in our Full-Text searches. Our users are confused, and call us wondering why they don't have full-text access in our Primo full-text search results.
Finding a way to sort the Ebsco abstract-only content from the full-text content, so it's working correctly within the Primo search…

Return all hits for a language in advanced search
In advanced search when refining to language you only get a result if you have a search statement. It should be possible to get all records in a certain languge, both from pipes and Primo central, if you refine to a certain language in advanced search. As it works in Libris advanced search: http://libris.kb.se/form_extended.jsp?f=ext

Ability to configure New Primo to force patrons to sign in
In the classic Primo, we were able to configure force login using the javascript in the KB Article https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Knowledge_Articles/How_to_configure_Primo_to_force_patrons_to_sign_in
The KB article is for classic UI only.
Due to security, we need to force user login.

Resource Sharing form direct linking to support SAML2 login
Currently direct linking to the Alma Resource Sharing form is only possible with PDS authentication.
We would like to suggest support for SAML Authentication.
The following page on the knowledge centre discusses direct linking to the almarsform

Citation Linker does not ignore initial articles
The Journal search in the Citation Linker doesn't always ignore the initial article. I'm referring to "articles" in the grammar sense (the, a, an, etc). So for example, you get different "view it" results for Washington Post vs. The Washington Post. This isn't a huge issue, but it is confusing.

Fix the Zotero translator problem (September 2018)
Primo and the Zotero translator have stopped playing nicely together ( September 2018 - see https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/316205/#Comment_316205 ).
I cannot download metadata from my institution (University of York) or British Library (an important source!).
This would be very frustrating at any time but at the start of the academic year it makes it very difficult for new students.
I am aware that there is an existing 'idea' in this list "Make zotero work with Primo" but that originates from September 2017 and is closed.
Many thanks

Adding 'preprint' as a new resource type in CDI
Preprints from preprint archives such as arXiv.org are currently shown as 'article' in Primo. While preprints are a wonderful thing for open science, it’s important to maintain a clear distinction between a journal article, which has undergone peer review, and a preprint, which has not. The article is citable, the preprint is generally not. This is something we teach our students, and also something we try inform the general public about.
Many preprints are also never published in journals in the end. Other preprints end up as e.g. book chapters, not articles.
While arXiv (1991) is the oldest and best-known…

display logic should allow us to block Resource Sharing Request if the item is an ebook
As more and more ebooks are offered and indexed in CDI, we need a way to block the UW Request from showing for these. At this time Resource sharing is not equipped to handle the loaning of entire ebooks. So we need users to use different options and unfortunately we do not have a way to block the RS request when an item is an ebook

Bulk search results export
In a recent user survey, students provided feedback they would like the ability to export all or a large number of their search results. Currently they are limited to a maximum of 50 results at a time. Users reported they had worked to create a search strategy and were disappointed they could not obtain a full list of their search results, and were forced to move to searching individual databases instead.

My Account - Previous and Historic Loans
For privacy reasons, many libraries disable the tracking of historic loans.
But when a client is signed into Primo, has items on their account, and goes to the Loans page of My Account, there is a drop-down with an option to choose to display either "active loans" or "previous and historic loans". It is redundant to have that second option there, since we have disabled it. There should be a way in Primo Back Office to hide that.

A-Z eBook functionality (similar to eJournals A-Z + databases A-Z)
We're in the process of implementing Alma/Primo (at present we're Summon clients). Per Inna Ilinskaya, there is no equivalent ejournals/databases A-Z functionality for ebooks in Primo. This is something that our users have become accustomed to in using Summon. Inna recommended that we post this as an enhancement.

More contact options for "person" in Resource Recommender
Right now in the Resource Recommender, the only 'contact' option for a 'person' is e-mail. We would like more options, possibly including:
URL - This is important because maybe they have a profile page that has more information, for example, in LibGuides. Would also open up the possibility to include a URL that takes the user to a form to request an appointment
Phone number
Hours - Because we're not necessarily able to respond at all hours.

Access by IP-Ranges : add criteria in Primo Analytics
Primo Analytics should support IP ranges as a filter criteria in the usage reports. This will enhance our statistics, for instance:
- how much usage is generated by certain libraries?
- how many patrons use primo off-campus or via VPN?
- are there users not affiliated with the university?
- what is the percentage of usage generated by library staff?
- etc.
The IP ranges might be taken from the backoffice configuration
Primo Home > Ongoing Configuration Wizards > Institution Wizard > Edit IPsPlease support this idea as we think this will lead to a clearer picture of our Primo users.

Introduce Nested Faceting in "Refine My Results"
Currently, it is possible to create new facets in the "Refine My Results" section with a little bit of work. Is there a way that nested facets could be introduced to this section? For example, there might be a facet titled "video" with the option of expanding this to introduce sub-facets like DVD, VHS, Film, Bluray, eVideo, etc. Or, under the facet "book" we would have the option of expanding this to introduce sub-facets like print book, eBook, Thesis/dissertation, Microform, Large print, Braille book, etc.

Improve the browse callnumber functionality in Primo VE to include Moys callnumbers
As a Primo VE law academic or student I would like the Moys callnumbers to be browsable in Primo VE. They are a special classification suited to my subject area. This functionality was previously available.
Background
Moys call numbers are not supported in Primo VE, even though they display in the Alma Browse functionality.Primo NUI did display them correctly.
Having invested considerable resourcing in developing Moys classification for our Law collections it is frustrating that we are no longer able to browse these callnumbers.

Harmonise the default resource type icons with Leganto's icons
Since we have both Primo and Leganto, our customers should have a consistent experience with resource type icons between the two interfaces. We have no choice but to use the OOTB icons in Leganto, a set of default Primo icons that harmonises with them would be appreciated. It may be that the size/canvas transparency may vary between them, but in essentials they should look the same where types are equivalent. With CDI we understand there will be additional resource types - this is a good opportunity to bring the two interfaces into a closer alignment for user experience.
PS: Alma…
