Display import profile name also for for failed import jobs
Currently, the scheduled job "Import Data to Primo VE" gives us the name of the import profile/external data source that was harvested, but only if the job ran successfully. If not, only the name of the job will be given, but not which profile it ran on. This is true both in Alma and for the corresponding e-mail notifications. We would be glad if this could be changed so that the profile name is always displayed, as the current behaviour is making troubleshooting issues with the import profiles quite cumbersome, especially if several are affected at once.

search profile slot drag and drop
Like many other Primo VE libraries, we have a single search profile slot (Everything) with a lot of difference search profiles (105 in total). Whenever a new search profile is created, it will be at the bottom and since you can only move item by clicking up & down each times, for libraries that have a lots of profiles, it is a nightmare. Imaging moving just 1 item to the top will take 105 clicks. It would be very helpful if it can be drag & drop instead to change position of an item on the list.

Allow Customization of Link Prioritization in the Merged Record to prioritize OA
Currently, when there is a merged record with multiple links, the links are prioritized according to a fixed set of prioritization rules (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Content_Corner/Central_Discovery_Index/Documentation_and_Training/Documentation_and_Training_(English)/CDI_-_The_Central_Discovery_Index/050CDI_and_Linking_to_Electronic_Full_Text#Link_Prioritization_in_the_Merged_Record). In general, the rules prioritize links to paid content over links to unrestricted (OA) content. Dedicate a user role for "Access Analytics (Primo)"
Now full "Design Analytics" role is required to access "Access Analytics (Primo)". In fact Primo usage is quite different from other Alma data including sensitive data like user, acquisition. It would be useful to have a partial analytics role for "Access Analytics (Primo)" like "Design Analytics – Acquisition", "Designs Analytics – Fulfillment", etc.

Allow Primo Research Assistant proxy definition to be determined by electronic collection's service
Currently, there is only one proxy definition allowed for the electronic services in Primo Research Assistant, but a one-size-fits-all approach is not sufficient for our needs. Alma allows for multiple proxy definitions to be used with electronic services, as they are configured in each electronic collection's service editor. We currently use 3 different definitions: 1) OpenAthens Redirector, 2) OpenAthens Proxy, and 3) no proxy. Please mirror this functionality in PRA so that we can create the correct links for all of our electronic services.

Add in additional filter features and options on Display Logic Rules (All/Any)
For the display logic rules to include an ALL/All other function in the rules.
Occasionally, we want to hide something, except when it's the only option available. We can only do this within the Display logic rules by selecting each service or interface individually to add to the list.
Creating the rule in this way makes it very large and unwieldy as well as static, having to go back in repeatedly when a new service or interface becomes available to add it to the extremely large list. By creating an all/all other option it would save time, make it less…

Show “display fields” and “General electronic services” in a DEDUP record
We show print records when records are DEDUPed (Availability: ALMA-P).
When there is a display field created for an e-record it will not show up when the record is deduped with the print record. Neither will so called “General electronic services” created for the e-record show up.15 votes -
Display "to present" for journals with current coverage
Primo displays current journals by displaying only the start date - the "to present" is implied, but we've heard from our users that they are confused by this. Please allow the system to display "to present" for journals with no end date in coverage.

Disable default search for related titles without direct links
It would be helpful to be able to deactivate the often-problematic default search Primo conducts whenever you click on a related title without a direct link to a corresponding record, since this search frequently returns irrelevant records.

Primo VE - Allow normalization of Esploro records
As a discovery tool Primo VE is supposed to deliver a unique gateway to many Library Resoures, including the a Institutional Repository (i.e. Esploro ).
To do so in a blended search one must be able to normalize records from different sources. We used to do that in Primo Classic, with a Pipe and a Normalization Rule. This is however not possible in the newer Primo VE.
Please allow manipulation and normalization of Esploro assets so that we can show them in the catalogue in a consistent way.37 votes -
Can the feedbacktool for Primo VE provide more information about the end user

If there is a single sign on of the proxy with Primo, this information is also useful when handling issues with access to e-resources.

Cross-Institution favorites
In a consortial environment, we would like to see favorites shared across institutions.
Currently, favorites from institution A are only visible when logged into institution A but not when logged into institution B and vice versa.
Our desired behaviour would be that all favorites from all institutions are shown, regardless of which institution a user is logged in to.

Research Assistant: please allow to link external website for help pages
The current RA help page is built from the contents of code tables, but this doesn't give much flexibility in lay-out, to include images etc. Our question is that institutions also have the possibility to link to their own web pages for documentation and help.

Dublin Core field to display external links (like an 856)
We would like to have a way to link users to external resources from a Dublin Core record, similarly to how an 856 is used in MARC. Example: a digital object in Alma could link to a related finding aid in ArchivesSpace.
Perhaps the field(s) most appropriate to display in this manner would be dc:relation, dcterms:isPartOf, dcterms:replaces, dcterms:requires, dcterms:conformsTo and dcterms:isVersionOf.. but only if those fields utilize (dcterms:URI). Improve call number Browse search
To improve the user experience in Primo VE, we propose modifying the call number browsing feature to show a few call numbers both before and after the searched call number, providing better context and making it easier to locate desired items.

Discovery collections handling
When creating or updating an Alma collection (adding/removing titles), the change is not automatically reflected in the Discovery Collections and it is necessary to trigger the reindexing for a correct display.
This workflow is problematic when titles are removed: records are taken out from a collection but are still present in Primo VE because a reindexing is needed. They can no longer be found by searching for the collection in Alma. Feedbacktool to provide extra info from the Primo record in the Subject of the message
Additional context information of the record such as the source (Alma, CDI, external source) allows problem reports to be dispatched more efficiently to the relevant person / service that can solve the problem.
Our use case is the following: external sources (like institutional repository, archives,..) that are imported into the library catalogue are not managed in Alma. Questions about these records need to be forwarded to the managers of these sources, often to other departments outside of the library. It's possible to manage and include additional citation style languages, which are stored in GitHub’s CSL Style Repository but they have a huge backlog to add new styles. It would be better if Ex Libris add support for custom repositories for citation styles.

Allow GES to access coverage information to calculate available services for articles
Our library uses GES service availability rules to disable our ILL services request link for articles “when resource is owned by the institution and available.” However, GES interprets a journal as available if we have coverage for any length of time, even if coverage is not available for the article in question. This leads to a number of CDI articles showing “No services available,” as we do not have an available link for access (not having coverage for that particular date/issue), and the ILL link is disabled because the system thinks we have coverage. Link to Reading List in Leganto at "More from the same Course" in PrimoVE - allow for the link to possess course code instead of course name
Currently in PrimoVE, when a title is present on a Reading List in Leganto, at the "More from the same Course" area of the title search result, the link to the list in Leganto possesses the name of the course and not the course code, which is more meaningful to our users. It would be great to have the ability to change this information which is not currently available.
