Lost in Transit Items Alert
I would love it if we could get an alert sent to the task list widget for staff in charge of fulfillment when an item has been in transit too long ("too long" as defined by the institution could be set somewhere in config settings). This would then alert the staff member to check shelves, and if not found on local shelves, contact the other institution to ask them to check theirs. If the staff member alerted wanted someone else to follow up on things, they could assign it to another user.
Right now, staff must remember to check the "monitor requests & item processes" area of Alma, then limit to "in transit" to see what is oldest on the list, see whether that transit time looks reasonable/unreasonable, and then follow up locally and/or with the institution the item was sent from.
Voyager used to have a "lost in transit" report that served a similar function that we could set to run on a regular basis, but having am automated task alert would be helpful is seeing potential lost in transit situations followed up on in a timely manner.
