Linking several Electronic Collections to one PO line from within the order
In Alma it's possible to link several Electronic Collections to one PO line. This is very helpful for us. To do so you can just write the PO line number in the field PO Line in the Acquisitions and License Information in the Electronic Collection Editor. But there is no way to do it vice verse, to link the order to multiple electronic collections from within the order. This would be very important for us, especially for those cases where the Electronic Collection is not in our IZ but in the NZ, so that we are not able to edit the Electronic Collection.

Agreed that this is a problem. We’re running into the same issue when setting up orders for consortia‑negotiated agreements that include multiple CZ collections. Since we can’t link a single PO line to several electronic collections from within the order, we’ve been creating Local Electronic Collections, attaching the POL to those, and then manually linking the POL to each relevant CZ collection via the Collection Editor.
The problem is that this workflow generates activation tasks that we can’t actually resolve unless we attach an unsuppressed bib record to the Local Electronic Collection. That forces us to create a bib record purely to clear the activation task, then suppress it again so it doesn’t appear in Primo. If we simply delete the activation task, the POL never moves to “Recurring Renewal”, which then disrupts our renewal workflow.
Given that this must be a common scenario for institutions working with consortia agreements and multi‑collection packages, it really feels like something Ex Libris should do something about.

Agree - Consortial resource purchases distributed from the NZ often have multiple resources grouped into one order and it would be helpful to have all the related resources tracked together with the one related order line.

When considering the activation of centrally negotiated opt-in licenses from the NZ, this would be a very useful feature. In many licenses, it is not possible to separate each e-collection into one POL.
