Maximum Renewal Period new option 'Renew until fixed date'
When the summer holidays arrive, a special loan is made with a special rule with a fixed due date.
But at that time, we also need the possibility to exist for that special rule, that the renewal is done until a fixed date.
For this reason, I request add the option of 'Renew until fixed date' to Policy Type: Maximum Renewal Period.

Is the requirement to have a fixed renewal due date that is different then the loan due date ? Normally, the renew date in Alma is just the due date that would have been assigned to the loan if the loan was to be made at the time the renewal took place.
A way to enable a renew due date that is not the same as the loan due date is to set a rule in the Fulfillment Unit that applied a different Terms of Use to the loan if the item is in process of Loan. The Terms of Use used in this rule will have a de date policy that uses the fixed due date you want to use for renewals.
