Alma - add a coverage field at electronic collection service level
Right now the coverage of a portfolio is managed at portfolio level only. It would be very useful to have a chance to set up values for coverage also at service level, so that they are inherited by all the portfolios using that collection service.
That would be useful when a) the portfolios share the same starting date in the license or b) when - as it happens now to us - for for a huge amount of portfolios we are still waiting from the publisher more detailed coverage information, but we know know for that we have at least everything after a specific year. Having a coverage at service level would allow us to set up a reasonable provisional value, while waiting for a more extensive and more precise one.
Please note that in the job for electronic portfolios we can right now only remove, but not add a local coverage information. That would be useful as well.
