Add Related Record MARC fields 76X thru 78X to Analytics
Library personnel would like to be able to generate a list of titles and related records in Analytics so as to document title changes, facilitate research and scholarly discovery and develop research guides for use within the institution. At this time, the 76X and 78X fields that are used to display various related record types in Primo VE are not currently indexed in Analytics. Rather than use up the limited number of bibliographic local param fields available – which would still not allow for full reporting on related records – our institution proposes that the aforementioned fields and associated data be indexed in Analytics to facilitate full reporting.

As it is not possible to :
- Put only the content of a subfield in a LOCAL PARAM but only the whole field;
- put together the contents of 2 MARC fields or subfields;
- assign a field according to whether a content condition is met or not (presence of ' no:' ).
And a fortiori to do these 3 things at the same time to index a LOCAL PARAM.An Analytics index for related records is essential to manage this type of documents.
And thank you by the way for not neglecting the European customers using UNIMARC fields 461$v and 462$v ! ;^)

In addition to adding these fields as attributes to the bibliographic details dimension, it would be helpful to include an attribute, "Has Related Records" to the Title Details dimension of the subject area.

These records are also an issue with Leganto. According to the library's configuration related titles can be added automatically to a citation - without the library ever getting any alert on it.
So we probably miss out on usage statistic because we a) don't know that related records are in use, and b) have no way to report on them.
