Print slip option in the Acqisition receive screen
We want a print slip option for the Receive screen in Acquisition that includes barcode and location, reporting codes, receiving note and notification of interested user/ patron request.

I would love this feature as well. Right now after I receive items I have to flag and set aside any items that I need to print the receiving note for since it happens in another section of Alma not in the receiving section which would make so much more sense. The receiving note we need to travel w/ the item as it moves through from Acquisitions to Cataloging and for some notes even on to the Circulation desk when the item finally arrives at the library unit. This has added steps and room for error to my new workflow. Whereas I used to be able to do everything I needed to do while receiving in our former program. Now there is much clicking, scanning barcodes over and over and jumping around. Please add this function it would be quite useful!

We also are looking for a more efficient way to print slips. For us the current form of the slip is sufficient, but the workflow is not. Either including the print slip option on the receive screen, or being able to select multiple items and print slips for all of them at once instead of individually would greatly speed up arrival procedures. We use receipt slips to note directions for catalogers or end processing, and many items go to our cataloging backlog, where we use the receipt date printed on the slip to sort them.
