Document Delivery - 10 MB Attachment Limit too small
For document delivery (scanning and delivering book chapters and journal articles) the limit is 10 MB. This equals roughly 20 pages of black and white text only on default, low res scanning setting.
For anything in color or with detailed photos we typically cannot send, requiring us to cancel the request and deliver the scan outside of the Alma workflow.

For attachment digitization requests, the file size limit was increased from 10 MB to 25 MB.

Hi,
Realise the last comment on this was a couple of years ago but just wanted to post to ask whether it is still planned to remove the limit entirely as the last commenter requested? Or if it would be better to have a new idea saying this.
This would be particularly useful for us in relation to RapidILL integration because there is no size limit when uploading files to rapid directly, meaning ALMA adds a restriction not present when using the unintegrated product, slightly marring what is otherwise a much more positive experience!

@Moshe, @Dana, Is the removal of the current limitation still being considered or has that been scrapped in favor of keeping the 25MB? We also have issues with this file size limit as we try to provide the best quality scan to the patron. Obviously there are various types of scan that can be done, grey scale vs color, 8 vs. 16 bit depth, as well as various dpi from 100 to 400 or more depending upon scanner settings so file size for the scan can vary widely.

We'd love to see the limit increased - it has long been a problem for us. We'd like to see it increased not just for Resource Sharing but also for the supply of digitisation requests both in downloadable form but also email attachments.
We fill digitization requests using email attachments and our University email server can accept over 30MB so we'd like to be able to increase the size of attachments to at least that limit.

I support this idea.
