Allow copy number mapping in Alma Import Profiles
The physical item inventory mapping configuration in Alma import profiles does not include the option to add a Copy ID. It creates a lot of extra work to, after importing records, open each item record with multiple copies, to edit the Copy ID field. We would like to be able to assign the Copy ID in the import, as we do the other physical item fields.
Additional fields were added to the Import Profile page > Inventory Operations tab for physical inventory. You can map item-level information from these fields in the input file, or indicate a value to be placed in the imported records.

It says that this exchange idea was marked as "planned" on June 27, 2018. It is now 2020 and I do not see this as an option in import profiles.... When is this planned for? it would be EXTREMELY helpful.

I also find this idea useful. It is always great when all steps can be taken at the same time, it saves time and clicks.

We also need the import profile to use the purchase cost from the bib record field (in our case the 980 field) to populate the item record replacement cost in the inventory tab. We currently have to manually search for and enter the purchase price/replacement cost in order for that cost to appear in the lost book letter. We don't use Alma Acquisitions (it duplicates our required procurement software procedures).

This will be a useful feature for us as well.

It is indeed a lot of extra work, especially since we have to do it for several thousand books and several hundred bound journal volumes a year. The presence of the copy number is desirable to help match the copy number on the spine to the right item record. So it would also be useful for the copy number to display as a column in the list of items when you click Items under a brief bib in the results list.

This would be most useful to us for our YBP books alao.

We'd like to see this in both New Order and Update Inventory import profile types.

How to do we set up an Acquisitions Import Profile so that when the item is created the item Replacement Cost field is populated with the order information? For example we have an Import Profile for our Yankee Book Peddler (US) vendor (New Order - physical material - YBPUS) that has the price recorded in the 960$s marc tag and this correctly populates the PO-Line entry but there doesn't seem to be an option to use this field in the inventory tab to populate the item Replacement Cost meaning we have to add this manually.
