Physical Item Editor - General Information Tab - add Chron. K (day) field
When in the Physical Item Editor (for periodicals receiving work), it would be more convenient if the General Information Tab included the field for Chronology K (for day of month), (along with the Chron. I (year) and Chron. J (month) fields). As it is, if the day of the month needs to be edited, you have to go into the separate ENUM/CHRON Information Tab.
Hey all,
Thanks for submitting this idea.
As we prepare for redesigning the items area in Alma, we plan to incorporate this change into the new UX.
Best,
Alma Product

I also agree with Betsy, please make ALL Enum Chron fields available on the first screen, maybe as a drop down.

Agree with Betsy R. it would be ideal to have all the enum/chron fields on one tab. Some of the other fields on the first tab such as Inventory & Retention information are rarely used and if you had to have a second tab that would be a better place to put those so there is room enough for all the enum/chron fields on the first tab.

This is definitely needed. Not having Chron K adds a lot of clicks and time to the receiving process.

For receiving this can be really frustrating. Equally when editing enum/chrono it would be brilliant to show the description and have a Generate button in the Enum/Chrono tab.

Please make ALL Enum Chron fields available on the first screen. Toggling back and forth is a pain and just begs for errors. Worse, when receiving a new issue, you have to actually save and leave the item record, then relaunch the item editor in order to finish entering the complete data. Very time inefficient!
