Combined IZ + NZ bib headings browsing
Please open an option to do a combined IZ + NZ bib headings browsing. Currently we have to choose browse in Institution or Network. But this really misses the point of a browsing -- we want to browse all the NZ + IZ records, and don't want to separate things into pieces.
Please also consider opening combined browsing for each heading type category -- e.g. within subjects, open an option for combined subject browsing, rather than currently have separate sub-category e.g. chronological, topical etc. The current browsing options are too tedious, and we do appreciate you to open more combined…

Users remove blocks
It would be usefull for an operator to delete selected blocks in the tab block of an user card in the same way of fines/fees, marking them and delete them in one go.
This idea because the operators can't run the job "Users - Remove Blocks".We think especially at those libraries where users are not always on time to return books and deleting them individually it's a waste of time.
it is not nice to delete blocks one by one.
It would be better if the operator could mark blocks and delete them in one go.4 votes -
Want to view more of a bibliographic record when editing without having to scroll
There is currently quite a lot of unused space above and below a bibliographic record. It would be great if I could drag the bottom of the bibliographic record down further when I am editing so that I can view as much of the record as possible at once.

Cancellation Reason
If a Patron Physical Item request is cancelled via a job there is no Cancellation Reason given to the end user.
It would useful to have a list of reasons that we could use for this letter.2 votes -
Remain on the same page when Current Location is changed
At the moment, when 'Current Location' is changed, this action results in the user being taken to the home page afterwards. This is inconvenient, especially when working in a patron record, as it means several steps to get back to the screen where you were before. It would be much better if the interface remained on the same screen after a location change.

Display all roles on a user's record at the same time
Only 20 roles display at a time on a user's record.
For users with more than 20 roles assigned to their record, give the option to display all roles at the same time.
If you edit a role to add a desk, and that role exists on page 2 of the role list, it will "refresh" the display so that you're back on page 1 of the role list. You then have to scroll down the record and page forward again if you want to go back to the place you were.

Limit in house use entry through Scan in Items
Alma records In House use via "Scan in Items" module and whenever item that is not on loan checked in. I would like to see a setting that will allow "In House use" to be registered only by Scan in Items. There are numerous occasions where staff may check in items but it is necessarily "in house use" by patrons.

MD Editor restrict release
We'd like for the ability to release records locked by another staffer to be limited to the Cataloger Extended or Cataloger Manager role, to ensure that not everyone can release records that others may be working on, at will.
Thank you,

Allow library configuration to block Temporary or Permanent Move requests
University of Wisconsin Madison has a ‘Withdrawn’ library, where items are moved and suppressed, because they are deaccessioned (e.g, extra copies that are no longer needed) or lost and missing materials. We use this method for in-depth reporting for capital depreciation and other accounting measures. As these items technically don't physically exist, we would like to be able to block Temporary or Permanent Move requests (to Change the items location) on the ‘Withdrawn’ library. Currently, blocking all requests, blocks patron initiated requests, but does not prevent staff from putting in these internal requests to change location on an item and…

Set temporary location to yes in import profile
We can add temporary location information to inventory records in an import profile, but we would also like to be able to set our temporary location indicator to "yes."

Making purchase order letters more configurable to add imprint information (place of publication, publisher, and publication year) to the letter to vendor. As it is now only the ISBN (if it is available) and title are listed, sometimes the author. Many vendors reply asking for further information to identify what it is we are ordering.

The content of the item field "Public note" will not be published to Primo. We want to index the public note in Primo but the field is not transferred to the PNX record.

Course Reserves Items
Another thing I would like to see is when you look up an item record that is on reserve, in the record it shows what course it is on reserve for. Looking at item records in Leganto does this, which seems based off of Primo, so I would think it is a possibility (when you open up an item record it says at this bottom, "Appears on these reading lists:" and list the lists it appears on).

Course Reserves searching when only one Course
If a course only has one item on Reserve, searching for it in Course Reserves does not provide the facets that show you the course name or Professor's name. I recognize that facets are intended to be used to narrow down a search, so if a search results in one item, it makes sense for them not to display, but in this case, this is how we find a course/professor's name.

More frequent resource sharing notifications
Enable the option to send notifications to users who place resource sharing requests for each stage of the process. This will give users a better sense of where their requests are, instead of just sending them into a black hole with no idea when they might arrive. This is similar to the way that online shopping provides notifications for each stage of a purchase, and is something users are coming to expect.

Vendor Contacts (Contact People tab) should not be internal contacts in Alma
When you enter Vendor Contact Details in Alma (Contact People tab) the internal contact form is used and the vendor contacts are stored as internal contacts. This form is inappropriate for Vendor Information. It asks for non-applicable fields such as gender and birth date and there is nowhere to add important information such as the contact's name, title and company they are associated with, work phone number, cell number, fax number, etc

Description Templates -- Create reference table for months and seasons
Hi,
I'm wondering if it would be possible to create some sort of reference table for the months and seasons. This would be for use in the description templates. Then we could use MM, MON, and MONTH (for example), to indicate whether the two digit code in the particular Chron field should be displayed numerically, as the standard abbreviation, or spelled out.
Having such a table would mean that for each type of pattern a single template could take the place of the 12 or 16 we have to create now.
This would be much more efficient right off the…

Allow **** or Python plugins for normalization rules
The Drools framework in place for normalization rules is very limited compared to real programming script languages like **** or Python. Live would be way easier, much more efficient and some things impossible with Drools would be possible with **** (like in SFX parsers) or Python for those who can use these languages.
