Yes to this! and in general, allow institutions to set all default responses as they need to. Institutions have different use cases. Providing configuration in this area would be are great benefit.

Agreed, being able to send a receipt directly from "Return Items" would be an enhancement to the return process for patrons and staff.

This would be a very good enhancement as it would be more intuitive for library users. Most library users use the same library location for circulation. Having the due date based on the library calendar of the lending library makes for a better customer service experience.

Thank you for posting this idea. I do hope it's successful. A restriction is made mute when the persistent search still permits a restricted action.
