Sort of holdings by location (A-Z) in Primo GetIt
Holdings in Primo Getit are sorted by "their proximity to the patron, according to the library IP address." . This results in a random list (see screenshot).
We want a sort by library location (A-Z), because this is more intuitive in cases where many holdings exist, e.g. printed journals are distributed at many locations among the university, see example .

We would like circulating copies in our largest libraries to display first in Primo, rather than having a smaller library that may not allow books to be loaned showing up first. The first Library is the only named location on the results list and the Details tab in Primo. A more desirable copy at another Library may remain hidden without extra clicks.
Currently in Voyager (we migrate to Alma in May), my institution has a scheme of ASCII characters we use as location OPAC Display Name prefixes to control the alphabetical display. For example, since we want the Main and Science Libraries to display before the smaller collections, we call them
and display other locations further down in the list by using a different character that sorts later, like
:Miller Learning Center Reading Room.
Would a scheme like this work for "Organization Unit Names" in Alma?
