@James Morrison: Maybe ipvanish can give you that information. The main reason for us is to filter out requests done by the staff, which does not use this service afaik.

It would be helpful to have an API access to Primo Central Collections.
Collections need to be checked for quality issues e.g. resource types contained. Its important to understand the density, language, and formatting of metadata before a collection is activated in production. Metadata experts could then assess the quality of a collection more easily. The method would be also more reliable and convenient than checking (some) examples via the Primo frontend.

Right! ExL should improve this. There is a general argument if you want to accelerate recall or precision. Precise queries (without synonyms) require more IR knowledge, and complete queries (with synonyms) may lead to irrelevant and more or less funny results due to homonyms. Customers should be in charge to set own priorities here, and hence extend/curate or reduce the synonym files.

The sorting of items in a holding is adjustable (see below). Instead, holdings are sorted by "their proximity to the patron, according to the library IP address." [1]. We want a sort by library location (A-Z), and I filed an separate enhancement for this: http://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308176-primo/suggestions/17908981-sort-of-holdings-by-location-a-z-in-primo-getit

For configuring the order of the holdings' records, as you request here see ALMA:
Resource Management > Resource Configuration > Configuration Menu > General > Physical Item Sort Routines
