Suggested update to Automatic Due‑Date Adjustment for Early Patron Expiry
At UWA, users receive no warning when their records expire in Alma. If we implemented the Automatic Due‑Date Adjustment for Early Patron Expiry, users would receive an email advising that their loans were due the same day, which is not client-focused.
Would it be possible to have a configurable loan grace period, so that loans would be due a certain amount of time after user expiry?

Agreed. This new feature is promising but is not currently feasible in our environment which uses a SIS integration to automatically update and expire Alma users when their enrolment or employment circumstances change. We need more flexibility in how Alma determines the adjusted loan due date for early-expired users, similar to how we can configure a recall, so that we don't essentially cancel their loans and start fining them with virtually no notice.
