Adding a facet to filter search in CZ
When searching CZ for a portfolio, can we have a facet to filter to only show those collections we have activated.

Hello Liza,
I personally would want to have the facet show collections that are localized in our IZ whether they are activated or not. The goal would be to activate a new portfolio in a collection we already are using, so being able to filter for only localized collections would help so much. Thanks! -
Hi all,
Thank you for submitting this idea, it does make a lot of sense!
I wonder if you mean the facet would check whether the collection was activated from the CZ or is its service Available?Best,
Liza and the Alma Product Team -

This would save so much time

Our best practice is to keep our collection activations as minimal as necessary. This filter would reduce staff time and help us adhere to our best practice. We believe that our e-resource management is much more efficient when we are not activating collections that aren't truly the best collection match for our holdings.

This would save staff so much time and searching. Please implement this.

This would be terrific! Often, there are dozens, if not 100+ collections for a single publisher. We'd like to be able to quickly find the collections that we already have active and just activate the portfolio in that one. This would make that so much easier!

Yes!! Please add this. It would be great to toggle between Activated, Not Activated, and All for portfolios within a specific Alma CZ collection. (SFX does this already!)

This is an addendum to what Elin has suggested. We would like to see the search results in the IZ display number of portfolios activated out of the total in the CZ collection. See mockup.

We would like to be able to see which portfolios are active in a community zone collection and which are not. For example, if 182 of 184 portfolios are active in a CZ collection, we want to be able to filter those that are activated institutional zones or in the community zone. Currently you need to compare Export Lists to see this.
