I did explain that if you attempted to Renew the item that it would check for recalls, but the Changing the Due Date appears to override whatever system checks are in place.

An error occurred while saving the comment Katie Utschig, SWITCH Library Consortium commentedThis is an addendum to what Elin has suggested. We would like to see the search results in the IZ display number of portfolios activated out of the total in the CZ collection. See mockup.

An error occurred while saving the comment Katie Utschig, SWITCH Library Consortium commentedWe would also like to see this applied to comments added to a title in one of our lists, that comment disappears when the title gets placed into a cart. The specific case is that we want to make a note about a faculty member who might want to see a title once it's ready, or to note that it's a replacement title. We add a comment in the Lists view, but once it gets put into the Cart, that comment is gone. Is there a way to either transfer that comment / keep it with the title, or to transfer the comment into the Interested Users section of the Cart?

An error occurred while saving the comment Katie Utschig, SWITCH Library Consortium commentedDarn - I ran out of votes and don't have time to reassign my votes right now. However, I agree with the problem addressed by this idea. An alternative solution might be allowing an individual to hide or unhide reports (much like the customization now available for task lists) so that you can choose not to see a report in the list even if it is available to you based on your role or profile.

An error occurred while saving the comment Katie Utschig, SWITCH Library Consortium commentedI would also like it if there were a configuration setting that would allow us to indicate whether OR not we wanted CZ records to automatically have the management tag of Publish Bibliographic records to OCLC. Since Alma documentation notes that many libraries seem to prefer setting their electronic holdings via OCLC Worldshare's KB, it would be really nice to use the OTB Bibliographic data synch without having to run jobs to change the management tag on new CZ records to do not publish. Alternatively, I could see a simple checkbox setting in the publishing profile to include or ignore electronic resources.

An error occurred while saving the comment Katie Utschig, SWITCH Library Consortium commentedThis is also true for patrons who supply an office number and you need to add their extension. The validation on the phone field prevents you from even adding your own text like
1-287-3782 x3827
The best you can do is something like 1-287-3782 - 3827
I would even be happy if you just removed the validation from the field so we could enter free text, but I suspect that could wreak havoc for anyone who wants to send SMS messages.

An error occurred while saving the comment Katie Utschig, SWITCH Library Consortium commentedI am 100% behind this idea. I have only started working with using purchase requests in our acquisitions workflow and would also like to see that information without having to edit the request.

An error occurred while saving the comment Katie Utschig, SWITCH Library Consortium commentedI would like to see this built into the Resource Management Import Profiles. There is currently an Update Inventory Profile based on POL, but I think they could just as easily create one based on Item PID and make it possible to update all item data (apart from the MMS, Holding, and Item PID) via spreadsheet.
Then, we could define a set of items needing correction, use the Export Items Job to export the item fields in a csv, correct fields, and then reimport the items via an Excel spreadsheet matching on the Item PID.
This functionality would be similar to what you can now do with the Alma calendar.
Moshe, that sounds perfect for our needs.
