Permitting Access to Analytics Objects via Alma User Name
Accessing Analytics objects is only controlled via roles, and that makes it almost impossible to set permission for a certain report to a single colleague or even a limited number of colleagues. Thus access is granted either for a large number of persons, or just somebody with a high level of permissions (administrators).
Our workaround is mostly using scheduled reports, which can be distributed via email address or Alma user name, but a similar approach should be there for non-scheduled Analytics objects from the Analytics menu.
I suggest allowing to set permissions also via the Alma user name of a legitimate Alma account.

I think the Feb 2023 release solves this problem... if you opt in for the the Analytics layout you also have the choice of connecting individual accounts to new Analytics reports.

Darn - I ran out of votes and don't have time to reassign my votes right now. However, I agree with the problem addressed by this idea. An alternative solution might be allowing an individual to hide or unhide reports (much like the customization now available for task lists) so that you can choose not to see a report in the list even if it is available to you based on your role or profile.
