Cart values on lists
We'd like to display cart values (Item policy, reporting codes, interested users, cart routing, shelf ready values, notes) on lists. Values applied in the cart would carry over to lists, and if applied in a list they'll carry over the the cart. This will save time when moving items back and forth from lists and carts.
Thank you for your suggestion. The Rialto team is reviewing this idea to determine how it might fit into our future plans. We cannot provide a timeline for these ideas, but be sure to check back often and vote for the ideas you support to receive status and comment updates.
Best,
Heidi Whitehead

All notes, all comments, all associated content should be available to be added at the time of selection and all markups should remain with the item all the way through approval and also be available when cataloging the item. The selector needs to be able to communicate why the item was selected to the cataloger and that information needs to be part of the item record. I would rather the cataloger decided if notes need to be removed. For example, the selector chooses "Nursing, 3rd ed." in February, they may not remember why this item was selected a month later or even after the item is sent to a list. The selector needs to indicate why the item was selected (for NURS 101, Dr. Soandso) when the item is investigated in search. The attached notes need to go all the way through the process to the cataloger and need to be part of any exports to Excel at any point in the process.

This would also be useful for transferring work between colleagues. Sometimes library staff create lists for other library staff but without all the purchasing information its not as time saving and efficient as it could be.
We used to use this feature in Oasis and moving to Rialto its something we have missed. It was great for sharing out work for validations of new courses or a new module as we needed the costings an then could place the order as soon as we knew the course was running or spending was approved.

We would also like to see this applied to comments added to a title in one of our lists, that comment disappears when the title gets placed into a cart. The specific case is that we want to make a note about a faculty member who might want to see a title once it's ready, or to note that it's a replacement title. We add a comment in the Lists view, but once it gets put into the Cart, that comment is gone. Is there a way to either transfer that comment / keep it with the title, or to transfer the comment into the Interested Users section of the Cart?
