Return to old layout-option
Please return option to use old layout, it was much easier to use. For those of us who spend much of our time switching between production and configuration, the "new" layout can be quite inconvenient. The location of the gear icon is poor and the color/contrast scheme is poor. The "new" layout makes me feel like I am hunting for the function rather than navigating to it ("Am I in configuration or production?" I would much rather have the production items on the left side (as they were before and are now) and the configuration menu items across the top as before. We, as users, have gained nothing with the "new" layout. Thank you.

This new layout makes my job insanely difficult. I'm extremely frustrated with this change. Why did it need to be done in the first place? If it's not broke, don't fix it. This "update" makes my job much harder and I don't appreciate it. This change is just to make it look like someone at this company has a job. It wasn't necessary. Instead of changing the layout and making my job harder, why don't you update the Design Analytics to reflect when fines are cleared properly?

We are sorry to hear your disappointment with the new layout.
Regrading the color contrast it is an area we are working on as part of our accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.1 (see Alma roadmap). Regrading access to configuration there are two additional ways to do it: Use the new shortcut Ctrl+Alt+C and the other through the menu search on the top left.We have conducted several user studies with Alm UX Focus Group representatives and made many improvements and receive positive feedback on the new layout.
We will continue and gather general feedback from all users and further improve the layout.
