"Request re-indexing" option for withdrawn items
There is a re-occurring indexing error in Alma when withdrawing items, where these items sometimes do not disappear from the Alma instance and a re-indexing job must be performed to correct it. These items often cannot be re-activated from "Manage deleted repository" and can't be interacted with. (See attachment)
Ideally, it should be possible to request a re-indexing of the Alma-instance directly in Alma. This could be for a single record or the instance as a whole.

The issues brought up are considered as bug and the best way to promote them is to open a case for support.
We are continue and fixing similar issues we are encountering repeatedly throughout the re indexing requests in a proactive way.
In July release we introduce additional fixes for similar use cases.One of the enhancement we have done it to fix proactively ghost record without the need of reindexing:
