Delete unwished licenses

We need the feature to delete unwished licenses. We mean delete and not display those licenses to the licenses list.

    Echoing the comments below, it would be extremely useful to have the ability to delete licences. We have many that are cluttering our ever growing number of records. Please could Ex Libris provide a timescale?

    We now have more deleted license records than active license records. Agree that any time estimate for implementation would be extremely welcome.

    I didn't see this on the Alma 2023 roadmap. Is it still planned?

    We have been waiting for the implementation of this planned change for a while, and now have our consortial instance to consider for the entire UC system. CDL as our consortial central office has amendments that migrated as main agreements and will be doing clean-up to redo the relationships. It would be nice to be able to completely delete these license records to not have these in the list after this type of clean-up. We tested the "Delete License API" and it only seems to update the status to "Deleted" - again, not removing the license records.

    Is there a planned date for this? It's been in the "planned" status for a long long time and seems straightforward enough. Would like to clear out our "deleted" license records.

    It has been a while since this idea was posted. I would like to support it too. We have quit a few old licenses which could be deleted. This would improve the usability.

    Do you have an implementation date for this change? We are building our license relationships and have to redo some of the more complicated "families" - having the ability to remove completely would sure make the display more tidy.

    We have some obsolete licenses migrated to Alma incorrectly, wish to have "delete" function to remove all these wrong license records.

    Absolutely! It is so annoying as you try to figure out the best way to represent the relationships between licenses, and have to delete some mistakes that they stay in the system forever.

    option for License records.
