Configuring Physical Item Sort Routine for Alternative Call Number

We have large volumes of items that are at the same location but at a different call number. All of these items migrated on to one holdings which means the Alternative Call Number is key in determining the correct call number. Are there any plans to add Alternative Call Number field to the physical item sort routine?

    The additional sorting by "Item Call Number" is very important for us, e.g. if journals are available in multiple copies at the same location and the "Item Call Number" provides additional information.

    It would be very helpful if we could sort the items by barcode and item call number, especially for those multi-volume books or books with many copies. Thanks.

    Sort Routine by barcode is needed too!!!

    Adding the field „Item Call Number“ (formerly known as „Alternative Call Number“) to the „Physical Item Sort Routine“ would be a great improvement.
