Update/Notify Users
External Notes and Statistics information is overwritten when synchronizing patrons Externally via the SIS system. Notes and Statistics information can be entered manually and set as “Internal” by running the Update/Notify Users job and selecting the option “Add/changed field = Internal”. However, you are limited by the information that can be added to each selection. In the “Notes” selection you can’t select nor add a Note Type. In the Statistic selection, there’s no option to select a Category Type or type a Note. (see examples)
It would be helpful, if there were notes and category options in the Notes and Statistics Parameters line options section when Running a Job to Update/Notify Users.
The ExLibris Knowledge Center addresses as follows, ("Notes and blocks may be internal or external. In general internal notes are added manually and external notes are added by SIS. But there is also the option to manually add an external note, by checking the box "Add as an external". The Update/Notify users job also adds external notes unless the option Added/changed field is set to Internal. Now when a new SIS feed comes in, external notes are always overwritten while internal notes are not touched.")

It would also be great to consider being able to mirror the adding Block Process where you can add an expiry date and more importantly a comment.

If more possibilities are considered to add and update User Notes, Ex Libris should also consider batch deletion of such notes
