Relinking monographs is clumsy, time consuming, and inefficient.
Add an option to search by MMS ID or OCLC Number in the NZ during the split screen search.
An automatic prompt asking whether to suppress or delete the old record from the IZ zone (upon saving) would be helpful.

I twill be helpful to illustrate the full workflow.
Today when searching for an item then relinking through the item editor a search screen come up and not the external search -
