Allow user to specify number of items to display (and select) per page
Currently, only 20 items may be displayed and selected at a time. Most commercial websites offer a widget that allows the user to specify display of, for example, 25, 50, 100, or "all" matches when searching. (The widget option would be useful for other search types as well, but I'm concerned primarily with items here.) Adding such an option in Alma would be welcomed. Displays could still default to 20 per screen, but allow the user to display more on a single screen if desired.
The current limit has a serious impact on our productivity when units are transferring large numbers of volumes from libraries on campus to remote storage. Because only 20 volumes may be transferred from one holdings record to another at a time, we waste a lot of time moving 20 items, then hitting back, etc., until we finally manage to get back to the next screen of 20 items to be moved, continuing to repeat the process until all of the volumes reported for transfer (or withdrawal) have actually been moved or deleted.
It would be nice to be able to display all items on one page and to be able to select all of them at once through the checkboxes. Only being able to move/withdraw 20 items at a time has proven frustrating, to say the least.
Being able to select items from a complete list and globally edit certain things like item policy while working on a single title directly (as opposed to creating a set for a single title and then running a batch job) would also be welcome.
As of November release you can now select the number of results appearing on any list of results (previously, only a few lists had this feature). For some lists, the range is between 10 and 50 results. For other lists, it is between 20 and 100 results.

Out of votes, but want to add that the same frustration occurs when editing an e-collection to add portfolios from the community. Sometimes it's necessary to activate large numbers of portfolios in a collection and the vendor does not provide a usable list for upload. Having to search, find the right page, select from the 20 titles listed, localize, and then repeat for the next set of 20 choices makes the whole process take far longer than it needs to.
