Design Analytics Extended
Analytics needs more granular roles just like other functional areas. The existing role of Design Analytics should be limited so that users can view and edit but not delete analytics stored in Shared folders. The ability to delete an analysis should be resricted to a new Design Analytics Extended role.

You may have figured this out already, given when the idea was submitted, but you can remove the ability to Delete in the OBIEE directly under More and Permissions.
