Electronic collections - let notes tab show active for functional notes
When viewing electronic collection/service/portfolio records, the note tab does not show active - a blue triangle in new UX - when content has been added to the functional notes - authentication and/or public. I understand that currently the content indicator "turns on" when content is added via the "Add Note" feature but it would help workflow if staff did not have to click the notes field to discover if authentication or public notes had been added to either collection, service or portfolio editor. Let the notes tab show active whether the notes are functional or internal.

I had case open regarding this issue (but for portfolio note). The answer from ExLibris in August 2017 was
"After a thorough examination, it has been decided that a solution for this will not be part of the current Alma work plan.
The decision not to include this case was taken after examining the severity and the number of institutions affected by the problem. This decision includes consideration of the risks involved in implementing the required change. All decisions are taken as part of a prioritization process which includes a comparison to other issues on the pipeline.
I am therefore setting the status of this case to 'Pending Work Plan'. "I think that this is more of a bug than an enhancement request, so if you agree, please open a case in Salesforce as well.

I also agree. It is very confusing not being able to see if there is actually an active note that applies to the three possible layers (collection level note, service level note, or portfolio level note).

Agreed. This functionality should be the same as in other notes tabs. The notes tab should be active when there are ANY notes, not just "Quick Add" notes. This looks like an oversight.
