Up/Down arrows in Culumn Headers
I think it would be easier for us users to have up/down arrows in the column headers instead of having the drop-down menu with the header text to find and then pick either up or down.

We will close this idea as there are reasons for having a combo based sort as opposed to a columnar one in certain cases and no additional feedback provided since our last query

Could you please provide more details? Are you referring to the sort options in the Receive -> Manage Items screen?
