Dear colleagues,
Thank you for raising this idea.
This was part of the CERV cycle in 2025, but did not make it to the final list.
During the analysis, 3 possible approaches were discussed, each has a different estimation and effort:
Option 1: New dedicated process type
- It will be possible to mark specific items as "unavailable", similarly to the way it is possible to mark them as "missing"

- The new "unavailable" option will appear as a possible process type in all the places where there is a list of process types, including configuration options such as Fulfillment Unit Rules
Option 2: Mark a location as "unavailable"

for us Stacey it helps identify the user appropriately. For instance, we use stat cats for department, school year, job title, etc. So if a user was a former Alum but is now an employee, we can easily see that and correct it. Otherwise, this is an unknown.

We are heavy users of the Statistical Categories and would see a tremendous benefit if it could be included in the left panel of the New Circ Desk UI!

I do agree with this and have found it a pain to remind staff to not delete users.

Agreed - I check the Monitor Jobs page every day and it definitely would be useful if it automatically refreshed.

Same experience here and would love to see the "Watch" button hidden when this happens. Ex Libris support told me this: "this is something that occasionally happens with YouTube videos. Some videos on YouTube do not allow embedding or other kinds of sharing. The way that Leganto retrieves YouTube videos has no way of checking for this, which means you may sometimes encounter this.
Unfortunately, there is no current way to hide the watch button. I recommend posting this to the idea exchange if you are interested in doing so."
