Dear community,
I would like to update you that this idea is planned to be developed. Thew planned solution will allow to limit users to be able to install/use only cloud apps that they have the proper roles for operating, meaning - users will not be able to install/use a cloud app they do not have the required roles to operate it. And, it will support the option for enabling the use of cloud apps only for users that are specifically chosen (by giving them a dedicated role for that), Meaning - users will be able to install/use cloud apps only if they were given a dedicated role for that.
If nothing will come up during development, this is currently planned to be released in 2024 H2.
Thanks,
Uri Beladev

Definitely makes sense ! We will look into adding an ‘All’ search option.

The feature should of course work for both Lending and Borrowing requests, not for Borrowing only.

This 2015 idea is very useful and has been accepted at the end of 2020.
Any news on the roadmap for implementing it?
It becomes even more useful since in the new RS UI there is a new default to external identifier instead of the last used index, which makes everyday work a bit harder.
According to my ILL colleagues, if ALL as suggested here is not doable, a default KEYWORDS index with at least External and Internal Identifiers, Title, Journal Title and Authors would be a great step in the right direction. -

Removing the "accepted" status so that institution can continue voting as agreed with the PWG.

We are looking into improvements that can be made to the Primo VE form, such as:
- Add a custom notice or message to the form
- Improve the form fields’ responsiveness to the requested format (book/article and physical/digital)
- Look into ways to enhance the configurability of the look and feel for the form

It would be important to have the possibility to enable/disable the tab/radio button in Citation Linker
For example we would like to allow our users to use the citation linker to look for articles or books, but not for Journals.Luigi Siciliano supported this idea ·

Actually it would be great if all Public Notes, also those of electronic collection and electronic services and portfolios, could be translatable.

Exporting structurally invalid binary MARC records sounds like more like an error that should be pointed out and fixed. Did anyone open a case about it?

There has been related development since this idea was first posted. It is now possible to use the Reading List Citation Update Task to Synchronize Citations with Repository, including an option to handle citations that are linked to deleted bibliographic records (delete or detach citation). The job can also be run in report mode. As of the May 2024 release it is possible to schedule the job to run on a regular basis. We believe this resolves this idea, but please test and let us know if otherwise.

Dear Susan, thank you very much. Since all in all it's deletion in Leganto the trigger, I decided to post this ideas in the Leganto section. Perhaps you have Leganto votes left and you can vote for the proposal there:

Hi,
Of course ! We will add a job that will be able to run on a set of user records and purge them, using standard validations (such as no existing loans, fees).
Thanks !

That would be great and we strongly support this suggestion. There is a thread in the Alma Mailing List - having subject [ALMA-L] Purging Users - about it. The thread shows clearly how lack of this feature is perceived as a problem by many users. GPDR in Europe makes the need of this feature even more urgent for European Customers.

We strongly support implementation of this idea and we rely on Alma + Primo classic.
Actually, rather than an enhancement request, it looks to me that the current behaviour of Database type collections is inconsistent with the general behavior of collections in the system, and should be fixed without the need of an enhancement request.
