Include subfield k from 245 in title index (important for manuscripts/archives)
Subfield k of the 245 title field should always be indexed. Currently, it is only indexed when subfield a is absent. OCLC makes clear that both subfields may be used together: "Use subfield ǂk also to indicate "form" even if a formal title is given in subfields ǂa, ǂb, and ǂc." Gather sessions where a user performed a search and then selected an item
Currently only one action can be tied to a session at a time—not multiple actions like a basic search and a full record display; therefore, number of sessions and number of actions are counted separately.
Tracking the number/percentage of searches that led to selecting an item can provide insight into relevance ranking and collection usage.6 votes -
Track the positions of selected records in search result list
As a Discovery & Systems Librarian, I monitor the relevance ranking configuration and the boosting configuration in blended search profiles on our site. It will be tremendously helpful if the positions of selected records in search result list are tracked. For example, higher positions says the relevance ranking is working well than lower in the list.
Selecting a record includes actions such as clicking on permalink, clicking on quick links, clicking on any OpenURLs, e-mail, citation, print, save to e-shelf, and for physical items, request item from the library.10 votes -
Allow GES to access coverage information to calculate available services for articles
Our library uses GES service availability rules to disable our ILL services request link for articles “when resource is owned by the institution and available.” However, GES interprets a journal as available if we have coverage for any length of time, even if coverage is not available for the article in question. This leads to a number of CDI articles showing “No services available,” as we do not have an available link for access (not having coverage for that particular date/issue), and the ILL link is disabled because the system thinks we have coverage. Link to Reading List in Leganto at "More from the same Course" in PrimoVE - allow for the link to possess course code instead of course name
Currently in PrimoVE, when a title is present on a Reading List in Leganto, at the "More from the same Course" area of the title search result, the link to the list in Leganto possesses the name of the course and not the course code, which is more meaningful to our users. It would be great to have the ability to change this information which is not currently available.

Create scopes/search profiles of Open Access CDI content
We are starting to promote Open Access content and would like to create a view that holds only this content. Alma currently allows you to create custom/local scopes that are associated with being OA. OA information does exist within the CDI, but there isn't a way to filter it into a scope or profile.

Display ebook reading format (HTML, EPUB, PDF etc.) in Primo (VE) full display
When displaying links to Ebook providers in Primo (VE) full display it would be suitable to have a notice of what ebook reading formats accessible for each provider. Instead of having to click further to the each provider to retrieve the information. Even information about online reading and/or download option would be suitable.

The Resource Sharing Request Form and Hold Request Form should allow letters in the start page, end page, and Pages to Photocopy fields.
There are a number of academic journals that use alphabet characters when numbering their publications- especially in supplement volumes. These characters should be allowed when patrons submit requests for materials.

Include DOIs in references in APA 7th ed. format for records coded with Dublin Core.
Exlibris has just updated the APA 7th ed. citation format settings to include the DOI for MARC21-encoded records (idea exchange: Improve APA citation format to include the DOI for an article), but we also want Exlibris performs the same process for Dublin Core-encoded records.
Users are increasingly turning to PRIMO to obtain the citation reference of a record they are interested in and in many cases their metadata is in DublinCore format, as more and more catalogs integrate repositories that encode information following this format.

Display requester note for purchase requests in "Requests" tab of "My Library Card"
Users who submit purchase requests in Primo VE put information in the requester note explaining why they are interested in an item. It would be useful for them to be able to review that note later (especially if it takes a while for a purchase request to be processed and they need to be reminded why they submitted the request), but users without access to the purchase request module in Alma have no easy way to review that information in Primo VE after they submit their requests. It would therefore be helpful for the "Requests" tab of "My Library Card"…

Access to Primo Research Assistant search queries
In the same way we can view Primo VE popular search and zero results searches in Analytics, we would like to be able to see anonymised user search queries for the Research Assistant, to be able to tailor support content and understand user expectations for this tool.

Consortia environment: inheritance for open access collections
Open access collections that are activated in the NZ are not inherited by the IZs.
Given the number of open access collections and the possible number of IZs, it can be a tedious task to activate a large number of OA collections for each IZ.
We would like to see that OA collections can be inherited just like regular subscription collections.

new bibliographic releases in primo
Some time ago, a proposal was made to modify the criteria for the elaboration of new bibliographic releases (New records facet according to inventary record) so that it would be based on the date of receipt of the issue instead of the date of its creation, since in the case of novelties in the last week, many issues that were recently incorporated are often lost, but the issue was created in connection with a POL.
By implementing this proposal, the catalog could make it easier for its users to manage new items with shorter periods.

Add more granular CDI suppress settings per electronic collection
When Ex Libris changed the "Exclude CDI ebooks" setting to allow ebooks from Database type collections through, we ended up with a lot of duplicate ebook records. The only way to fix that is to select "Do not show as Full Text available in CDI even if active in Alma" for each of our ebook collections. However, that suppresses everything from the filtered search, including book chapter records. I'd like the ability to only suppress the CDI ebook records per collection.
I understand the need to allow ebooks from Database type collections through, but we've got to come up with…

Dedicate a user role for "Access Analytics (Primo)"
Now full "Design Analytics" role is required to access "Access Analytics (Primo)". In fact Primo usage is quite different from other Alma data including sensitive data like user, acquisition. It would be useful to have a partial analytics role for "Access Analytics (Primo)" like "Design Analytics – Acquisition", "Designs Analytics – Fulfillment", etc.

Support a grouping for non-alphanumeric titles in AZ list
For the "Support AZ List in Database and Journal Searches" in 2025 May release, please add back the link to group non-alphanumeric titles. In the old Primo, if I remember correctly, there was a "#" link in which I can see all non-alphanumeric titles, e.g. starting with Chinese characters.

Add in additional filter features and options on Display Logic Rules (All/Any)
For the display logic rules to include an ALL/All other function in the rules.
Occasionally, we want to hide something, except when it's the only option available. We can only do this within the Display logic rules by selecting each service or interface individually to add to the list.
Creating the rule in this way makes it very large and unwieldy as well as static, having to go back in repeatedly when a new service or interface becomes available to add it to the extremely large list. By creating an all/all other option it would save time, make it less…

Enable separate search profiles, scopes, and slots for Advanced Search
We request the ability to display search profiles, scopes, and slots separately and selectively in Simple and Advanced Search. Today, any search profile added to a search configuration automatically appears in both Simple and Advanced Search together; it is not possible to configure them separately. We would like the option to display the profiles, scopes, and slots in Simple Search only, or Advanced Search only, or both. We request this at all levels of search profile/scope/slot configuration. Allow conditionality/logic toggles for fields in Primo Forms
Description: Currently the Resource Sharing Request form is fixed/non-customisable in the options available, e.g. format everything is available Digital or Print. However, for some circumstances we need to hide the options that don't apply to the request being made (see use case below) Given that conditionality/logic toggle is in the form for the chapter fields, this would is an additional application of the existing functionality in Primo forms, but that we could control.

Develop web browser bookmarking tool/extension for pre-populating Purchase Request
With the recent development of the Order It tool, we have realised that for our purposes, we would like to have a similar toll available related to Purchase Requests.
Quicker, easier more accurate.
The form would help keep things accurate without giving access to order it to ordering librarians and help us utilise the requester information in the purchase request form (ours is behind a login and restricted to set user group)
