Allow "personal delivery" for "interested users" of a POLine
For library patrons who make use of the "personal delivery" feature for requests (be it distance-learning-students or employees working from home), it should be possible to have items delivered when they are "interested users" in a POLine. Currently, the pickup location for the request always is the circulation desk of the item’s location, as specified in the POLine.
For librarians, this creates the need to find workarounds if we want to offer patrons good service via personal delivery to their homes/places of work. Worse, erroneously scanning such an item at the the circ desk creates a pickup notification, confusing distance students who are unable to pick up items.
This suggestion ties in with the following suggestions - underlining that the "interested users" funtionality is in dire need of an overhaul:
"Extend the "interested users" functionality" (https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308173-alma/suggestions/17116894-extend-the-interested-users-functionality), which will soon celebrate its 10th birthday.
