Converting Digitization request to RS request - The “Requested Pickup Location” should be filled from “Resource sharing library” a requester
When converting a digitization request to resource sharing borrowing request. The “Requested Pickup Location” should be filled by the requesters “Resource sharing library”. Currently there is “No campus” set. As a library that has 8 different campuses, it would be useful to know where the requester wish to pickup the item on conversation. As has an automatic default process, if the item is electronic.

Yes, initially, it will be a RS request for a digital file. However, if both the RapidILL and BL are unable to fulfil the request, we will send it to another library holding this material. Unfortunately, some libraries’ policies still allow them to supply only print copies (libraries from Germany). In this case, we need to know which library a requester selected for the item to be delivered to. So, Requested Pickup Location should be added to the Digitization request for this reason.

Can you share the screens you are referring to ? Converting Digitization request to RS request should not require a pickup location to be selected.
