Request for uniform ISBN numbers regardless of which Alma repository search is performed
At the moment, the situation is that the Alma repository search results show different kinds of ISBN numbers depending on the search you run, as shown in the following example:
(a) Electronic title search for 9780262363464
The result (MMS ID 99117091527405511) shows this entry (first 020a entry):
"ISBN: 0-262-36346-1 and others" – preferably this would be displayed as the corresponding 13-dig ISBN: 9780262363464 instead of this rather obsolete 10-digit ISBN
(b) Electronic portfolio search for 9780262363464
The result (portfolio 53296177790005511) shows these ISBNs:
"ISBN: 0-262-54238-2" (776z) – this 10-digit ISBN is not really necessary here
"ISBN (13): 9780262542388" (=776z in ISBN13)
Now, the enhancement request would be that the electronic portfolio search should also display the first 020a entry as the electronic title search already does. The field 776z could also be displayed additionally in both places. However, this is not considered absolutely necessary.
