Delay between item return and item being available for loan
Currently, you can set a reshelving time (period of hours), during which a returned item will display as awaiting shelving until xxxx. The item is however available for loan from the moment it is returned, the reshelving time is merely an indication the item may not be on the shelf. This is expected and how the feature should work.
But can the reshelving time include an option, or can a new configuration be created, which will set the item to unavailable for a given period after return: ie an item is scanned as returned, but remains unavailable for loan for xx hours (or until the status is changed manually).
There are ways to do this when an item is returned in person to a desk, but the idea is to cover when items are returned via self service returns units or laptops returned to Lapsafe.
