Have the ability to sort by: Storage location ID when scanning a tray of Items.
When processing books we put new barcodes in an item record in the storage location id input box so we can locate them within our facility and preserve the original barcode. When we are done processing a tray of items we verify all the items are in the tray by placing the tray barcode followed by an asterisk (ex. 00000000*) in the search bar. Alma then pulls all the records that are linked to the tray.
The problem is that they are ordered by call number instead of the storage location id. This makes it dificult for us to verify which items might be missing due to the scanner inputting a barcode wrong or a worker making a mistake.
So it would be helpful to be able to sort by location ID.
