I believe that it would be more efficient to patrons if we did not allow renewals on items requested as a hold by other patrons

Hi Moshe - it looks like the "Not Renewable - Item has request" option you mention is only available with recalls active in Alma. We do not wish to have recalls available, but we do want to stop renewals on items when they have a request on them. I'm going to submit a new suggestion with all this information.

Are you familiar with configuring the 'Not Renewable – Item has Request(s)' option in the Block Preferences configuration ?
