How can we improve Alma?

Entend time-out of Alma.

I would like the option of changing the timeout for Alma, often I am away and Alma times out and I have to go back and get back to what I was doing. I can see timing out at the end of the day, but 1 hour is way too short. Thank you.

    Agreed. The short 1 hour time-out for "security" purposes is way too short. If it cannot be extended then there should be a quick way to one-click yourself back in. So called computer security is ruining the usefulness of systems. It is out of touch with the working people at front desks who are busy with numerous face-to-face patrons.

    Thanks for your feedback. For security related reasons we cannot extend the timeout of Alma's session, and have actually received recommendations from security audit companies to reduce the time. We don't plan to do so but cannot extend the timeout as it currently stands at 60 minutes
