Provide Configuration Options for Lost Item Replacement Fee TOU Precedence in Alma
Some items have price information in the record, and some do not. Rather than delete all price info or try to add it to each record, our library would like the option to force the system to defer to the Lost Item Replacement Fee (LIRF) stored in the Fulfillment TOUs over the item price in the record (if one exists). Some additional parameters for this configuration may include 1.) if price exists and is greater than the LIRF then the item price should take precedence or 2) if item price is less that LIRF then LIRF takes precedence or 3. ) TOU LIRF takes precedence, regardless of item price.
Another option may be to allow staff to manually adjust fee prior to setting the fine (i.e. via popup after the Lost action is selected.
