controlled vocabulary list upload
Hi,
Instead of create term by term when working with controlled vocabulary, enable the option of upload an excel file or any csv file that will do that.

As Katie has mentioned below, we'd also like to add all of the 1209 austlang codes to the 041A-OTB Controlled Vocabulary Registry. Need a way to do this in bulk.

The use of Vocabulary Encoding Schemes is a main practice in RDA cataloguing. RDA is a flexible standard that allows extensions in its cataloging practices (in fact, RDA Toolkit has a specific space for community resources that, among other things, will contain several local controlled vocabularies). Beyond this standard, or perhaps because of its influence, the use of controlled vocabularies is a practice increasingly used globally. The fact that ALMA only allows manual implementation of controlled vocabularies term by term, instead of being able to import them from a CSV or similar, is a rather difficult obstacle to overcome, and above all, quite difficult to understand in 2024.

This would be extremely useful! We are keen to add the Austlang indigenous languages to the 041 vocab, for example, but it is simply too large to do manually.
The add/edit vocab functionality is simply too limited without the ability to add via upload - most vocabs will be much too large to add one-by-one without a great deal of work.

The Controlled Vocabulary Registry requires adding controlled vocabularies by hand. Having to enter CVs by hand is extremely time-consuming and error-prone.

This feature would be super useful! Is Ex Libris planning to implement it any time soon?
