In Repository Search, display "Due Time" field for checked-out items
The "Due Date" field already displays for checked-out items in a "Physical items" search but "Due Time" doesn't even though many institutions check out hourly items for which the "Due Date" field isn't really useful.

The May 2017 Release repository search now displays the due time in addition to the due date for checked out items.

Hi Moshe,
We are aware that the "Loan" link will display another window with the due time. But, when there are tens or hundreds of item records that are due on the same day and need to be sorted, it is a very arduous and inefficient process to click on the "Loan" link for every single one, be redirected to another window, and then have to back out of that window, just to see when each item is due. Adding the "Due Time" field as a separate field directly in the Repository Search results would enable us to export this list in Excel and sort by due time. An almost equally useful option would be if Ex Libris could add the due time to the existing "Due Date" field in the Repository Search item records as this could also be exported to and sorted in Excel.
As is, it is currently impossible in Alma to sort items that are due the same day but in different hours. Again, this is a necessary feature for those institutions with dozens (or thousands) of hourly items that check out.
Thank you,
Amila -
Hi,
Please note that the due time is displayed when clicking on the Loan link in the results list.

Would be a tremendous improvement in the Repository Search as we need to check due times for various reasons.
