Default search option setting for external resources
MD editor > Tools > Search external resources
Search options for external resources such as title, creator, isbn, system number and year of publication are automatically filled in from a bib record. This make us to delete fields manually and spend time. It would be great to set search options at the institution level or individually.

Agree! I often need to copy ISBN, clear, paste ISBN, search. It's too complicated. As an aside, it would be nice if there were shortcuts to search resources.

I suggest that organizations can set the default configuration, and users can further customize the configuration from the default.

I agree, particularly with regards to our system number. How this would ever be relevant to an external search is beyond me.

I suggest unifying all the ideas regarding searching external resources feature, and consider changing it completely.

That would be a great idea! It's especially weird that our system number field is filled as a search criteria when searching external resources.
