Better way to easily identify suppressed bib & holdings records
Currently, it is not possible to quickly identify suppressed holdings records. It is not unusual to have an unsuppressed bib, with one or more suppressed holdings. Would it be possible to place use an icon next to the holdings records on repository search results (similar to what is used for suppressed bibs), or, to use different color coding of the background and/or text? At the very least, the MARC simple view should indicate a holdings record is suppressed, either with wording, an icon, or a color differentiation. (Color differentiation was introduced into Voyager several years ago, and it worked great.) Having to load a holdings record into the metadata editor in order to identify if it is suppressed is very clunky, and people often miss the one small clue that the holdings is suppressed.

Yay! I see the little slashy eye icon in the holdings list at the left. Thank You!

A colleague and I were discussing this issue. Currently, on a Repository Search list, the word "Availability" (in green) is used to show all holdings info and all portfolio info. What about adding the word "Unavailable" (use a different color) to indicate suppressed holdings and inactive portfolios? This would quickly show if a holdings record is suppressed, or if a portfolio is inactive. From the results screen, once "Holdings" is clicked, the list of holdings appears. It would be great if this list would indicate what is or is not suppressed.

Additionally, could the suppression indicator icon for bib/holdings be VISIBLE in the metadata editor? You currently have to navigate several clicks into the ME to toggle suppression on/off, but the icon indicating suppression is not visible from within the editor, so if for some reason it doesn't "take" (which has happened to me several times), there is know way to know it without either repeating all those clicks to see the setting in the ME, or backing out/searching to get back to a repository results list.
