Hello,
I am glad to inform that we are communicating with Kanopy to explore ways in obtaining metadata for their collection.
I will update this idea as we make progress.
Kind regards,

Hello all,
As planned, we are moving forward with this ingestion. You will see a zero-title database in the KBs, as we work towards indexing this content in CDI.
Best,
Rael
An error occurred while saving the comment Elizabeth York commentedHi Rael & Ex Libris,
We're interested in knowing how this is progressing. We see there is a collection titled "Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP)" in Alma with link in record records, but we're not sure if this is the planned GPO Marcive collection. Could Ex Libris please let us know, is this the planned GPO Marcive collection? If not, could we please have an update on how this is proceeding? Thank you!
An error occurred while saving the comment Elizabeth York commentedThanks, Rael, for this update! We are looking forward to this! I'd just like to note that in order for MARCIVE records to work well in the KBs, Ex Libris will need to obtain the full MARCs from MARCIVE. Just loading a KBART file or title list won't work because many of these items don't have ISSNs or ISBNs. So, I'm hopeful you'll be able to load the full MARCs supplied by MARCIVE into the CZ!

An error occurred while saving the comment Elizabeth York commentedI support this idea, but I think it should be done for both Public Note and Authentication Note. Both these notes are important and should be displayable on all full text links.

Thank you for the idea, a delete action will be added for each portfolio presented in the MDEditor-> View Inventory
An error occurred while saving the comment Elizabeth York commentedI just want to add that I hope this can be carefully implemented with permissions in mind. There may be some metadata editors who should only be able to edit physical inventory, not electronic.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elizabeth York commentedIn Alma, automated processes and jobs can suppress and unsuppress bibliographic records. It is also possible to suppress and unsuppress individual bib records using the metadata editor. However, Alma does not track the history of record suppressions and unsuppressions.
This means that when we come across an incorrectly suppressed record in Alma, we have no way to determine when it was suppressed and what job (or which Alma user) suppressed it. This makes it more difficult to correct workflow problems and monitor automated processes that may be acting in unexpected ways.
This idea proposes that Alma should track bibliographic record suppressions and unsuppressions. Each suppression event should include the date and time and the identifier of the job/process or Alma user who suppressed the record.

Clarification was provided regarding the functionality requested – which is not to delete portfolios but rather detaching portfolios from the collection and setting them as standalone portfolios.

How is this process going? We hope that Kanopy's full title list can be added to the Alma CZ. This collection should use Kanopy's full MARC records (like the Alexander Street video collections in the CZ use the full records from Alexander Street), and each record should contain a Kanopy-specific identifier in an 035 field that can be matched using the portfolio loader so we can selectively activate just our Kanopy titles using the portfolio loader.
