> highlight books
Yes. What we would like to do:
– pin a few most important titles at the top
– sort the rest of the collection alphabetically -

I agree that newer editions should be shown above older ones, unless a patron searches for a particular edition.

Hi
> even though items from another location [...] are present for use and borrowing
We have the same problem with books in our open stacks: they can not be requested online for pickup in the owning library.
We haven't found a way to communicate this to the patrons, because there are two different situations:
A)
The book is on shelf in the open stacks; no online request for pickup in the owning library is possible.B)
The books is on loan. In this case it _is_ possible to place a request (reservation) for pickup in the owning library. It would be great if there was a way to add an information for the patrons that display only if the item is in place on the shelf (in our older system, this was a pop up message).

Just to add, because it took me a while to understand: this is about advanced search.

Category search is possible, at least in Primo VE, but it is not as easily activated as the category search for journals. -

But I completely agree: a simple "copy" button in Alma (like in Aleph) is missing.
I'm also really missing the proxy function that we used extensively in Alma; this did not make it through the NERS voting though.

Hi
There is a Cloud App for this which should work.
Careful: the "to" patron comes before the "from" patron.

@Florianne you do already have the link Stacey is talking about (if I understand it correctly): it's at the end of the details section, called 'Collection path' / 'Chemin d'accès à la collection'
So all Ex Libris would need to do is show this link on the page of the collection, for ecample above the single titles.
(of course it should be a setting that the institution can choose to show or hide)
