Place "request" link (i.e. physical item request) against availability locations as opposed one "request" link that currently appears against the whole availability section of a search result in PrimoVE. As Alma expects items from the same location to behave in the same manner, surely physical item availability in PrimoVE should opperate in the same way - here the "request" link should only appear against a location where all items are on loan and not against the full availability for all locations where physical items may be on the shelf and where a Library may not want "on shelf" requesting. The current set-up is confusing to users - they see the "request" link when items from one location (say 3 week loan collection) are all on loan even though items from another location (1 week loan collection) in the same Library are present for use and borrowing. It would be great if this change could be considered, please. Many thanks.

We have the same problem with books in our open stacks: they can not be requested online for pickup in the owning library.
We haven't found a way to communicate this to the patrons, because there are two different situations:
A)
The book is on shelf in the open stacks; no online request for pickup in the owning library is possible.B)
The books is on loan. In this case it _is_ possible to place a request (reservation) for pickup in the owning library.It would be great if there was a way to add an information for the patrons that display only if the item is in place on the shelf (in our older system, this was a pop up message).
